System High Analytical Research Center (SHARC) is an incubator and integrator of technologies and capabilities to solve complex national security challenges. Through this internal R&D lab, we explore inventive new ways to resolve current protection shortfalls through experimentation and prototyping. SHARC also serves as a secure and advanced environment for our national security customers to confront and solve difficult challenges.  

Working collaboratively with commercial and government partners including NASA and Clearspeed, SHARC has been instrumental in discovering a broad range of solutions and has produced patents for multiple technologies. These are some of the game-changing innovations that have our SHARC members have developed:

• Supply chain risk management (SCRM) program. We partnered with NASA to establish an enterprise SCRM program. This work included developing standard operating procedures, training courses, and mitigation and incident response plans. Currently, three partners use custom tailored versions of this program for their organizations.
• Secure SAP IT equipment destruction. Having discovered flaws in government processes and procedures for destroying SAP IT equipment, we developed P² SHRED. This innovative system successfully overcame these challenges and is gaining momentum in providing P² SHRED services across the SAP community.
• Insider threat risk reduction. In collaboration with our partner, Clearspeed, we develop and deliver countering insider threat (CInT) risk reduction capabilities. Coupling Clearspeed’s automated voice questionnaires with System High’s analytical capabilities, we help teams home in on higher risk areas.
• Proactive privacy. Our 360 Privacy partnership reduces customers’ digital forensics footprint by deleting, blocking, or obfuscating personal private data. It searches every aggregation site on the internet which sells profiles on individual citizens with a 99% success rate.
