Chantilly, VA. (July 6, 2021) – System High Corporation has promoted Mr. Karl Borden to Vice President of Science and Technology (S&T) Protection. In this role, Mr. Borden is responsible for enhancing employee and customer relations, exceeding contract performance, and introducing innovation critical to sustaining our customer’s vital missions across the entire S&T community. With more than 25 years of security experience starting as a Navy Special Access Program (SAP) Program Security Officer, he provides technical and leadership expertise that has been proven in the most complex and challenging security environments.

Mr. Borden joined System High in 2016 and has progressively held positions of increased responsibilities to include Director of Legacy and Emerging Programs, Director of Security and Infrastructure, and Program Manager at DARPA. Prior to joining System High, he served as the Director of the Army SAPCO, where he was instrumental in transforming the Army SAP and Sensitive Activity Oversight community into the Army Special Program Directorate. In this position, Mr. Borden was a valuable member of the Department of Defense SAPCO Director Oversight Committee and assisted in the development, coordination, and implementation of SAP Policy and horizontal security protection methodologies that fostered reciprocity across the Federal Government and industrial security communities.
